A former driveway and underutilized side yard were carefully reimagined following the installation of a new detached garage, transforming the property into a comfortable and highly functional outdoor retreat. The result is a sophisticated extension of the home, designed for both everyday enjoyment and effortless entertaining.
At the center of the landscape, a custom pergola defines a shaded outdoor living sanctuary, creating an architectural framework for a collection of carefully curated spaces. A metal fire pit anchors the seating area, while a tranquil water feature introduces a sense of movement and serenity. Raised garden beds add seasonal interest and provide space for cultivating fresh herbs and vegetables.
An elegant outdoor kitchen with incorporated bar seating creates a natural gathering point, positioned for smooth access to the home and designed to make entertaining outdoors feel simple. Throughout the landscape, custom details elevate the experience, including a beautifully crafted arbor over the new garden gate that replaces the former driveway entrance.
Custom clay pavers were selected to complement and closely harmonize with the century-old brick of the residence, creating a thoughtful visual connection between the historic architecture and the newly designed landscape. Every material and detail was intentionally composed to feel cohesive and distinctly tailored to the character of the property.
