It starts with a conversation. Owner Myles Coughran meets with you to walk the property, understand how you want to use your outdoor space, and talk through your vision and budget. This is where the relationship begins and where we start earning your trust before any plans are drawn.

We begin by working alongside your landscape architect or designer to translate the vision into a comprehensive, detailed bid proposal. This is also where value engineering and material selections happen, so every choice is vetted against both the design intent and your budget before construction begins.

Owner Myles Coughran personally oversees every landscape construction project, which is what sets CDB apart. You are not handed off to a crew you have never met. From there, you are assigned a Project Manager who works in step with your Project Foreman, tracking every detail from start to finish and holding the build to the design details and project specifications.

Once construction is complete, we perform a thorough cleanup and inspect every detail to confirm it meets our quality standards. We then walk the finished project with you, answer any questions, and provide guidance on caring for your new landscape. Our goal is to make the entire process smooth, efficient, and genuinely enjoyable, leaving you with a space that holds up for years.

This is the part that matters most. Your new outdoor space is built and ready to live in. Summer dinners under the pergola, evenings around the fire pit, mornings in a yard that finally feels like yours. We built it to hold up for years, so all that's left is enjoying it.

OWNER & PRESIDENT

Myles Coughran is a Colorado-based landscape designer and entrepreneur known for this work in residential outdoor living and landscape construction. He got his start working alongside his brother installing and fixing sprinklers. He went on to receive his Master Gardner certificate from Colorado State University. Myles started Colorado Design Build with the focus on personal client relationships while creating functional, visually distinctive outdoor spaces. With over 25 years in the industry, his work emphasizes cohesive landscape themes, blending architecture, hardscaping, and natural elements to enhance both beauty and usability in residential properties. Myles oversees all sales and follows every project with his talented team from start to completion.

OWNER/VICE-PRESIDENT

Meredith grew up in Littleton, Colorado and attended Arizona State University where she earned her degree in Communication and Business. After 12 years as a medical sales representative and Realtor, she partnered with Myles to start Colorado Design Build and oversees office operations, human resources, and bookkeeping. While she is still active in real estate, she enjoys overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, whether that’s being in the office or out visiting job sites.

PROJECT MANAGER

Steve has been working in the landscaping industry since 2000, when he got his start in Kansas digging holes and pushing wheelbarrows alongside a friend. After moving to Colorado in 2002, he continued building his skills in landscaping before spending seven years at a local nursery, expanding his knowledge of plants and landscape materials. He later returned to landscaping and has worked alongside Myles as a Project Manager since 2014.  Steve holds a certificate in Concrete Masonry and Hardscape and helps organize operations on a daily basis.. Steve has been with Colorado Design Build since its inception.

PROJECT MANAGER/FOREMAN

Growing up between Mexico City and Oaxaca, Hugo learned craftsmanship early, spending his teenage summers working alongside his father in landscaping. With over 31 years in landscape construction and project management, he has led projects of every size and approaches each one as if it were his own home, pairing meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to the client relationship from the first meeting through the final walkthrough. He has worked alongside Myles since 2021.

Like his brother, Cesar grew up between Mexico City and Oaxaca. He was introduced to the landscaping industry at a young age. At 18, he began working alongside his father, where he learned the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and taking pride in every project. Those early experiences inspired a lifelong passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. His specialty is masonry, and he enjoys transforming natural materials into lasting features that enhance both the beauty and functionality of a landscape. Whether it's patios, retaining walls, walkways, or custom stonework, he pays close attention to every detail to ensure the highest level of quality.

He loves what he does, and he feels there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a project come together and knowing it was built to last. He has been working alongside Myles since 2021.
